My stay at Sol Duc Resort was a mixed bag. I enjoyed the tranquility and rustic vibe of the cabins, which feel like an upgraded camping experience, and the hot springs were definitely a highlight. However, the lack of modern amenities and the cleanliness of the facilities left much to be desired. Overall, it's a decent spot for nature lovers but not somewhere I'd revisit, especially given the higher price point.

The cabin was adequate and provided a cozy atmosphere, but it had a slight musty smell and the lack of kitchen amenities was disappointing. It felt outdated considering the rate we paid.

The service was friendly, and the staff worked hard despite the challenges they faced. However, the lack of available help during late hours was a bit frustrating.

Nestled in the Olympic National Park, the location is perfect for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature, with beautiful trails nearby.
Dining

Dining options were limited, especially since we arrived after the restaurant closed. Breakfast was decent, but we had to fend for ourselves at dinner, which was a hassle.

The hot springs were relaxing, but the cleanliness of the locker rooms and slippery floors were issues that detracted from the experience.

My stay at Sol Duc was a mixed bag. The natural hot springs are a highlight, especially the variety of temperatures, and there are lovely scenic hiking trails to explore. However, the accommodation feels quite dated, and I faced issues with the key cards upon arrival, which made for a frustrating start. Additionally, the restaurant service was disappointingly slow, making meal times less enjoyable. Overall, the natural beauty of the area is wonderful, but there are significant service and maintenance improvements needed.

I had a mixed experience at the resort. The location is beautiful, right in the heart of Olympic National Park, allowing for great outdoor activities. However, the cabins were not clean and had a musty odor that made our stay less enjoyable. While the hot springs were relaxing, they felt overcrowded at times. The food options were limited, but the breakfast was decent, so there's a silver lining there.

The hot springs were nice, but overcrowding diminished the experience. More crowd control would help.

My recent stay at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort was a mixed bag. While the location offers incredible access to nature and the hot springs were a highlight, the accommodations left much to be desired. I faced several issues with the cabin amenities and cleanliness, which made the stay less comfortable than anticipated. Overall, it has great potential, but the value for the price paid wasn't quite there.

Rooms
5.0
The cabin we stayed in was very basic and not well-equipped, missing essential items such as glasses and a coffee maker. Given the price of $225 a night, I expected more amenities and cleanliness.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking in aspects like providing essential kitchen items and clarity during check-in. Also, contact options in emergencies were nonexistent.
Location
8.0
The resort is tucked away in a beautiful area of Olympic National Park, which is great for back-to-nature trips, but the access to the cabin areas felt neglected.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, and I found the prices for basic items in the lodge quite high.
Facilities

The hot spring pools were well-maintained and enjoyable; however, the cabins could use significant improvements.

We had a wonderful time in our private cabin, which was dog-friendly and perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool, and we found the mineral soak to be incredibly relaxing. However, the cabin needed some serious cleaning and updating, as the carpets were lacking. Overall, it was a memorable getaway but with some room for improvement.

Rooms

Our cabin was spacious and dog-friendly, but it was quite dated and the carpets were in need of a good clean.

Situated in Olympic National Park, the area offered stunning scenery and great hiking trails to enjoy during our stay.
Dining

We enjoyed two delicious dinners at the on-site restaurant, which was a relief given its remote location.

The pool area was a hit with the kids, although the hot springs were pretty crowded during our visit.
